Rhododendron 'Dora Amateis' is one tough and reliable rhododendron. In early spring this compact. evergreen shrub is covered with white flowers accented with yellow-green flecks on the upper petal lobe. Although each flower is small. they are borne in profusion and give a spectacular show. The new foliage has a lovely bronzy tone. especially if this rhododendron is grown in full sun. Once the leaves mature they are dark green and look great all year long. This is one of the best compact white rhododendrons.
