A beautiful. bigleaf but compact hydrangea. Amethyst will produce medium pink or lilac blooms that fade to green later in the season. Best grown in partial shade. though it can tolerate full sun if soil is kept consistently moist. A fantastic choice for foundation plantings or in containers. Amethyst makes great cut flowers and will give you long lasting color late in the season.
